Memories by the lake became a reality to owner Monica Hopkins in August of 2004. The original “Memories” was opened in a tiny little house just north of downtown Chelan. In a short time Monica realized that the space was just too small for what she wanted to provide to her customers, so she doubled the size of the store by adding on a giant workroom and more retail space. Before too long, that too was just not big enough and Monica wanted to be downtown where all the action is.
So, in 2008 Monica purchased a new building and remodeled it into the new “Memories”. Now we have great lighting, an outstanding workroom, and retail space galore.
